Family's Day Out Program Kicks off with Eco-Friendly Art

October 17th, 2008

It will be an afternoon of turning trash into treasures, making art, learning about reusing and recycling, and seeing demonstrations. Art activities will be for all ages and everyone is welcome. Materials will be supplied but you can also bring your own recycled items (jars, cans, paper, plastic, odds and ends, even old hockey gear and sticks!) to see what new creations can be made from them. All FDO activities are free and made possible through funding by the United Way. If you would like to volunteer or organize a demonstration or activity, or would just like more information, please contact the Family's Day Out Coordinator, Ila Goodwin at 364-4946 or TantramarFRC@canada.com.
