Tantramar Family Resource Centre hosts first three programs at their New Centre

This spring will see the return of the popular Hikes and Tikes Parent & Baby Walking Club beginning Tuesday, April 20 at 10 am. Those interested can meet volunteer, certified personal trainer and Mom, Cristina Scott with their strollers at TFRC on Willow Lane to enjoy fresh air and a social time while getting exercise. Come weekly or come when you can, no registration required.
The Centre partners with VON Healthy Baby and Me program in order to offer an eight week prenatal course. Maria DesRoches is a trained and very experienced facilitator and she will be offering the evening course starting Tuesday, April 27. All are welcome, pre registration is requested by leaving a message for Maria at 389-BABY.
TFRC is pleased to announce that the Parent Child Mother Goose® program will be offered through partnership with the Talk With Me, Early Language Services Program once again. Krista Girard from Talk With Me and Stacey Merrigan from TFRC will co-facilitate this 10 week program for preschoolers and their parents. Language and pre-literacy enrichment occurs through songs, rhymes and oral story telling. All welcome to this FREE program but pre registration is required by calling Talk With Me at 870-2993. This will take place on Mondays, starting April 12. The venue will be the Sackville United Church.
Tantramar Family Resource Center is currently operating with part time project staff. It is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00-12:30 pm and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:30 pm. We invite you to drop in during these hours.
